Either is your first or last day of sailing holidays, Split is a place you need to visit. Its glorious seafront promenade will serve you with bars, restaurants, street performers and magnificent view, especially by night. You can find there one of the world’s most impressive Roman monuments – Diocletian’s Palace, which is also Unesco World Heritage site.

When you are already there do not miss the cathedral of Saint Dominus with an impressive history. You can see this magnificent city from your very own boat or take a walk and hike up to the Marjan Hill with a fantastic view of the city. It is 20 minutes away from the airport and you can get there by taxi or public bus.

Whichever of our recommended routes in Croatia you choose, Split city is one of the places you need to visit. You can start your sailing holidays in ACI marina (check if there are any of our yachts still available) which is at the very entrance of Port.

If you travel by plane, find yourself a taxi or UBER (cheaper option) and ask them to take you to marina ACI Split. For those who travel by car, there is a small parking place in the marina (cost around 7€/day) or you can leave your car in a parking place, 50m from ACI marina, for FREE (this one is not protected as parking place in the marina).

No yachts available in ACI marina? Do not worry, you can also start your sailing holidays in Marina Kaštela which is in the middle of the airport and city.

After landing at the airport of Split, find yourself a taxi or UBER (cheaper option) and ask them to take you to marina Kaštela. For those who travel by car, there is a parking place in the marina (cost around 7€/day) or you can leave your car in a parking place, 50m away from marina Kaštela, for FREE (this one is not protected as parking place in the marina).
