Changes to the crew on board are possible during the sailing week. However, this needs to be indicated in advance and remain within the capacity of the boat. By law the charter company must hold an accurate record of crew; for search and rescue purposes, as well as boarder controls.
Further to the initial crew list that you must provide, you will need to fill out additional details. This will state the date of the change in crew and the subsequent updated crew list. All crew information should be emailed or faxed to us ahead of the sailing trip.
Before taking over the vessel, the charter agency will provide the guests with a verified crew list. This will have data both before and after the change and must be kept for the duration of the voyage.
If the crew suddenly changes during the cruise, without prior notice, guests are obliged to contact the charter agency and inform them about the change. They will then email a new verified crew list so that you can continue your journey where ever you may be.
All the crew lists (old and new) must be kept safely with the charter records on board the boat in case they need to be inspected by officials while sailing.
